Motivational Message

I wish to reflect on the recent memorial services of our dearly departed brother for this month’s motivational message. It may seem awkward to couple that feeling with motivation, but we are not beyond hope. The Bible tells us to “rejoice in hope,” and Romans 12 says “be joyful in hope.”

In addition to mourning this tragedy, you may be facing a myriad of issues, but you are not defeated. Victories through Jesus the Christ are not impossible. You may feel alone, desert of family because of social distancing guidelines; yet, you must keep faith that better times will supersede the ones that you’re enduring.

In retrospect, I quoted that “with God there are no arbitrary happenings.” This is true. Nothing surprises God, nothing gets by God. He knows what you’re facing and the degree of pain it’s dealing. But, you’ve got some things. You have hope, desire and an indomitable will to keep pushing, praying, and persevering. “Getting what you want is inevitable,” this I know, so advantage the privilege of life and that you’ll live to face another day. That’s hope for a turnaround in your dilemmas.

REJOICE IN HOPE
