1. Brother Samuel Matthews began the year as Principal of South Delta High School in Rolling Fork. He is accredited with increasing the success of the school from an “F” rating to a “C” rating. He recently joined the Mississippi Achievement School District as the principal of Humphreys County High School.
2. Brother Derrick Hooker, Sr., is the Director of Operations for the Hollandale School District, and he is responsible for oversight of all district maintenance. He also serves on the Executive Committee for the Mississippi High School Activities Association.
3. Brother Cortez Johnson is the Principal of Simmons Junior High School in Hollandale, Mississippi, where he also serves as the Athletic Director for the district.
4. Brother Travis Johnson is the Assistant Principal of Threadgill Elementary School in Greenwood, Mississippi. His school was recently acknowledged for the highest 3rd grade gate growth of all in the GLCS District since the inception of the state’s accountability model.
5. Brother Cedric Hodo is the Senior Executive Director of Building Operations Services for Madison Metropolitan School District in Wisconsin. He oversees all building projects in Wisconsin’s second largest school district.
6. Brother Jerryl Briggs, Ed.D is the 8th President of Mississippi Valley State University located in Itta Bena, Mississippi and recently celebrated the university’s reaccreditation.
7. Brother Charles Brown is the Principal of Leflore County High School in Itta Bena, Mississippi. As principal, Brother Brown is accredited with improving school achievement resulting in a “B” letter ranking for scholastic performance.
